Very cozy and beautiful setting! The stairs are pretty steep inside, so note that if you have bad knees. The bathroom is downstairs and beds upstairs. Loved the location and the comfort. Highly recommend for a beautiful and peaceful stay! Great restaurants with amazing gluten free options close drive away.

This cottage was a gem. We loved the cozyness of it and the views were amazing. We were so relaxed. Our golden Retriever had fun swimming and smelling and listening to nature as well as all of us. We swam, caught lots of fish and went out on the peddal boat and had bonfires. It was a perfect weekend. Jo, was responsive and took care of any of our needs. I 100% recommend staying here for some R&R.

Our family of 16, and growing, had a wonderful time. There was plenty of space, options on living rooms, right on the water for view and boat access, fire pit for morning and night, and lots of well thought out amenities!

This house fit our needs for a family lake weekend. The house is pretty well stocked for cooking, etc. We were not super familiar with Lake Wawasee, so beware if you have your own boat many areas are super shallow. One of our boats had issues as it’s a bigger boat, overall a great stay! Host was responsive and helpful!

The Red Cottage was the perfect weekend get away / guys trip. 6 of us highschool friends got together for a reunion and had a blast. The deck is the ultimate hang out. The grill made for a great BBQ for dinner one night. The kayaks and tubs provided plenty to do. We fished and swam daily. The host Jo was extremely friendly, responsive and flexible on our check in / out time which was much appreciated. We will 100% be back. Only gripe was 2 thin mattresses in the loft for beds which were slightly uncomfortable.

Amazing place! 10/10 would recommend. Had everything we needed for our stay. The house was spacious, open and very clean! Close walk to the private pier, where you can go swimming, kayaking, or boating. Had a very relaxing time!

Jo’s place was great. The area was quiet, felt safe and had great access to the water. Jo was helpful and patient with all of our questions (and we asked A LOT.) We would stay again if in the area.

We had a wonderful, five night stay! This place had everything we needed to cook meals every day, both inside and out, boat, kayak, relax, and spend time with family. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. We loved the patio with ample seating when we had family visit for the day. We will definitely be back.

Great little place to stay. Very Clean and Great back deck for gathering. If kayaking is your thing they had a couple of those on the dock as well. Would recommend to everyone.
